President and Prime Minister of Bangladesh greet the President of Kenya on the Independence Day of Kenya

Dhaka, 12 December 2020:

 

Hon’ble President and Hon’ble Prime Minister of Bangladesh have greeted Hon. Uhuru Kenyatta, C.G.H, President of Kenya on the occasion of the Jamhuri Day (Independence Day) of the Republic of Kenya on 12 December 2020.

 

The President, in his congratulatory message, mentioned that Bangladesh and Kenya share excellent relations at both bilateral and multilateral levels. He conveyed his strong conviction that the close bonds of friendship and cooperation that happily exist between the two countries would acquire momentum in the coming days to the mutual benefit of the two peoples.

 

The Prime Minister, in her greetings message, said that Bangladesh and Kenya enjoy excellent bilateral relations that are marked by common ethos, similar views, quest for development and mutual respect & goodwill. She pointed out that the present cordial relationship would open up newer opportunities in the mutually beneficial areas of trade & commerce, investment, connectivity, people-to-people contacts, etc. through our concerted efforts for the common prosperity of the two peoples.

 

The President and the Prime Minister also extended best wishes for good health, happiness and long life of the President of Kenya and continued peace, progress & prosperity for the friendly people of Kenya.
