Newly arrived ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Bangladesh Saed Mohammed Saed Hmaid Al-Mheiri paid a courtesy cell on State Minister of Foreign Affairs Md. Shahriar Alam, MP at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today. This is his first ever call on the State Minister after the presentation of his credential to the President of Bangladesh on 16 May 2018. During the meeting, they discussed the issues of mutual interest between the two countries. They expressed satisfaction over the excellent bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries especially the developments achieved in recent months. While the Ambassador expressed his determination to take the relationship to a new height during his tenure, the State Minister assured the Ambassador of his full support in discharging his duties in Bangladesh.
Earlier, the UAE Ambassador also paid a courtesy call on the Foreign Secretary Md. Shahidul Haque at the Ministry. They expressed their desires to work together to enhance the bilateral relations between the two countries.
