Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Mr. PARK Young-sik paid his maiden call on Foreign Minister Dr. A. K. Abdul Momen, MP at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs this afternoon. 

 

 

Foreign Minister Dr. Momen  warmly welcomed the Ambassador to his new appointment. He praised the Korean model of development that transformed Korea into a developed country in less than a generation and acknowledged this model as a source of inspiration for many countries like Bangladesh. He referred to the recent boost in trade, commerce and investment between Bangladesh and Korea. Dr. Momen reiterated Bangladesh's foreign policy motto of 'friendship to all, malice towards none' and said Bangladesh followed this in her all diplomatic pursuits including the Indo-Pacific Outlook. Dr. Momen sought further collaboration with Korea to develop an export oriented economy. He assured the Ambassador to extend all possible cooperation during his tenure in Bangladesh.
