Newly arrived Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Bangladesh Saed Mohammed Saed Hmaid Almheiri paid a courtesy call on the Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali at latter’s office this morning. The Foreign Minister welcomed Almheiri to Bangladesh as the UAE Ambassador and assured him of full support from the Foreign Ministry in performing his responsibility. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral, regional and international issues of mutual interest. They noted with happiness the enhanced engagement between Bangladesh and the UAE in the recent months and agreed to work for further expansion of the cooperation in the area of human resources, trade and investment, culture, aviation and other potential areas for the benefit of the two peoples.
