Dhaka, 17 August 2020: 

The Government has decided to appoint Mr. Md. Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan as the next Ambassador of Bangladesh to Germany.

Ambassador - designate Mr. Md. Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan is a former Senior Secretary to the Government. Before his retirement from Government service on 03 January 2020, he held important positions of the Government including Chairman of the National Board of Revenue.

Mr. Bhuiyan obtained his Bachelor of Social Sciences and Masters of Social Sciences degree in Economics from the University of Dhaka. He also completed Master of Arts degree in Development Economics from Williams College in Massachusetts, USA.

He is married and blessed with three children.
