Bangladesh condemns missile attacks targeting Riyadh and Jazan by Houthi rebels
Dhaka 02 April, 2020:
Bangladesh strongly condemns the missile attacks targeting Riyadh and the southern city of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Jazan by the Houthi rebels on 28 March 2020, which however, were intercepted and destroyed by the Royal Saudi Air defence forces before hitting targets.
Such unprovoked acts by the Houthi rebels undermines the peace and security in the region. Bangladesh expresses solidarity with the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the face of such aggression and conveys its support to the Kingdom in their efforts to bring about lasting peace and stability in the region.
