“Show Bangladesh, Know Bangladesh”: A Month-Long ‘Branding Bangladesh Program’ during the Month of Independence – March 2023 is being arranged by Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Karachi

 

Karachi, 11 March 2023:

 

Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Karachi arranges a month-long ‘Branding Bangladesh Program’ during the Month of Independence of Bangladesh – March 2023 titled: “Show Bangladesh, Know Bangladesh”.

 

During the month-long program at the Chancery in Karachi, invited people from all walks of life including Bangladesh expatriates, Pakistan nationals and Pakistan nationals of Bangladesh origin ranging students, academicians, professionals, cultural activists, media people, and businessmen are expected to participate.    

 

During the month-long ‘Branding Bangladesh Program’ titled “Show Bangladesh, Know Bangladesh” various development initiatives and sectorial achievements in Bangladesh are being highlighted. The rich culture, art, literature, heritage and tradition of Bangladesh are also being highlighted. The bright sides and glorious achievements in all areas including in socio-economic areas will also being particularly focused before the visitors. The visitors also visit the Bangabandhu Corner and witness the rich history of Bangladesh. The visitors particularly the young generations and the students have deep interest to know more about our glorious history of the Independence. The visitors see the historic photographs of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and though the vivid photographs with English sub-titles the visitors see and know the charismatic, dynamic, and indomitable leadership of Bangabandhu in all fronts including in the international diplomatic fronts. Different short film shows and documentaries and video clippings on Bangladesh’s socio-economic development, mega projects and issues such as Padma Bridge, Bangabandhu Karnaphuli Tunnel, Dhaka Metro Rails, Bangabandhu Satellite-1, Digital Bangladesh, Women Empowerment, Education, Gender Equality, Social Safety Nets, Bangladesh’s Humanitarian initiatives such as providing temporary shelters to Rohingya people from Myanmar, other issues such as art, culture and traditions, and achievements in different other fields are also being briefed, discussed and screened before the visitors to showcase Bangladesh and her achievements and glorious history. Bangladesh is also being showcased as a peace-loving, hospitable, hard working, dynamic, all-inclusive, secular, committed and promising nation. 

 

Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Karachi S. M. Mahbubul Alam also discusses and interacts with the visitors at the on-going month-long ‘Branding Bangladesh Program’. He highlights that Bangladesh is now among the five fastest growing economies in the world ranking 35th in terms of GDP. He focuses that the present government of Bangladesh has been striving hard to turn Bangladesh into a developed country and Smart Bangladesh by 2041.

 

All the visitors are impressed with the success stories of Bangladesh. They are sincerely appreciative about Bangladesh’s glory and achievements. Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Karachi believes that the month-long ‘Branding Bangladesh Program’ titled: “Show Bangladesh, Know Bangladesh” will have positive impacts and lasting impression about Bangladesh on the minds of the visitors. They will know more about the Bangladesh Development Model, Success Stories and will have a wider knowledge and clearer perception about Bangladesh.
