The Hon’ble Foreign Minister Dr. A. K. Abdul Momen, MP held a bilateral meeting with the Foreign Minister of Thailand Don Pramudwinai on the sidelines of the OIC Council of Foreign Minister Preparatory to the 14^th OIC Summit on 30 May 2019 at Jeddah Conference Palace of Saudi Arabia. The leaders discussed the ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various areas and explored new avenues of cooperation. Dr. Momen strongly stressed about greater economic integration and trade facilitation between these two countries. The issue of Rohingya featured prominently during the discussion. The Foreign Ministers particularly emphasized on ways and means of greater ASEAN engagement in facilitation and monitoring of Rohingya repatriation.
