Bangladesh Deputy High Commissioner in Karachi, S. M. Mahbubul Alam had exchanged Eid Greetings with the Governor of Sindh Province of Pakistan H.E. Mr. Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori at the Sindh Governor’s House in Karachi.

Governor of Sindh Province of Pakistan H.E. Mr. Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori very warmly received the Deputy High Commissioner at the Governor House on the 1^st Day of Eid. Senior officials of the Governor House warmly welcomed the Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh on arrival at the Governor House.

Deputy High Commissioner extended Eid greetings to the Govern Sindh. He also extended Eid Greetings to the people of Sindh. Deputy High Commissioner expressed his profound thanks and gratitude for the greetings and honor they extended to him and conveyed to the Governor the greeting of the Government of Bangladesh.

During the meeting the Deputy High Commissioner S. M. Mahbubul Alam said that Bangladesh is Muslim majority secular democratic country. Everyone in Bangladesh exercises the freedom of celebrating the festivals including the religious ones. He further mentioned that Bangladesh observe public holidays on all the major religious festivals such as the Eid for the Muslims, Durga Puja for the Hindus, Buddho Purnima for the Buddists and the Christmas for the Christians. Deputy High Commissioner mentioned that the people of Bangladesh are peace-loving and Bangladesh is a land of communal harmony.

Deputy High Commissioner also briefed in short the Governor on various socio-economic achievements in Bangladesh. He said that Bangladesh has become a ‘Role Model’ of socio-economic development in the world. The Governor Sindh highly appreciated the socio-economic developments in Bangladesh. He commented the development of Bangladesh is very impressive and encouraging.
