“Show Bangladesh, Know Bangladesh”: A Month-Long ‘Branding Bangladesh Program’ during the Month of Victory - December 2022 arranged by Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Karachi

 

Karachi, 28 December 2022:

 

Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Karachi arranged a month-long‘Branding Bangladesh Program’ during the Month of Victory of Bangladesh December 2022 titled:“Show Bangladesh, Know Bangladesh”.

 

During the month-long program arranged at the Chancery during December 2022, a total of over 1000 (one thousand) people including Pakistan nationals and Pakistan nationals of Bangladesh origin had participated.

 

During the month-long ‘Branding Bangladesh Program’ titled“Show Bangladesh, Know Bangladesh” various development initiatives and sectorialachievements in Bangladesh were highlighted. The rich culture, art and tradition of Bangladesh was also highlighted. The bright sides of Bangladesh was focused before the visitors. The visitors also visited the Bangabandhu Gallery and saw/witnessedthe rich history of Bangladesh and the glorious history of the Independence of Bangladesh. They also have seen the historic photographs of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and though the vivid photographs the visitors including the young generation from Pakistan came to see/know the charismatic, dynamic, and indomitable leadership of Bangabandhuin all fronts including in the international diplomatic fronts. Different short film shows/documentaries/video clippings on Bangladesh’s socio-economic development, mega projects/issues such as Padma Bridge, Karnaphuli Tunnel, Metro Rails, Bangabandhu Satellite-1, Digital Bangladesh, Women Empowerment, Education, Gender Equality, Social Safety nets, Bangladesh’s Humanitarian initiatives such as providing temporary shelters to Rohingya people from Myanmar, other issues such as art, culture and traditions, and achievements in different other fields were briefed/discussed/screened before the visitors to showcase Bangladesh. Bangladesh was showcased as the ‘Role Model’ of socio-economic development in the world.Bangladesh was showcased as a peace-loving, hospitable, hard working, dynamic, all-inclusive, secular, committed and promising nation. 

 

Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Karachi S. M. Mahbubul Alam also discussed/interacted with the visitors to the month-long ‘Branding Bangladesh Program’ titled“Show Bangladesh, Know Bangladesh” during December 2022. He highlighted that Bangladesh is now among the five fastest growing economies in the world, ranking 41st in terms of GDP. He briefed on positive Bangladesh and highlighted on the bright and promising Bangladesh. He focused that the present government of Bangladesh has been striving hard to turn Bangladesh into a developed country and Smart Bangladesh by 2041.

 

During the “Show Bangladesh, Know Bangladesh”program during December 2022 arranged by the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Karachi, the visitors from a wide social spectra in Pakistan highly appreciated the dynamic policies and robust socio-economic developments in Bangladesh. They were impressed to see and know the present day Bangladesh. They were enthusiastic to learn more about Bangladesh and development/impressive policies/issues of Bangladesh. They also expressed profound appreciation to have the opportunity to visit the Bangladesh Mission in Karachi and to know more about Bangladesh.

 

Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Karachi firmly believes that the month-long‘Branding Bangladesh Program’ titled:“Show Bangladesh, Know Bangladesh” would have positive impacts and lasting impressionabout Bangladesh on the minds of the visitors from Pakistan.
