Karachi, 06 December 2022:

Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Karachi arranged a workshop at the Chancery on 06 December 20222 titled: “Workshop on the Improvement of Quality of Consular Services”. Around 30 participants including the Mission’s consular officials and consular service seekers participated at the workshop.  

 Different aspects of consular services were discussed and few practical issues related to consular services was explained practically. Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Karachi S. M. Mahbubul Alam in his remarks said that rendering smooth consular services is very important as a diplomatic mission. He emphasized on the transparent, dynamic, quality, and service-friendly consular section in the Mission. He categorically mentioned that Bangladesh is a ‘Role Model of Socio-Economic Developments’ in the world and Bangladesh has an impressive image in the international community, which is a pride as a nation. As a Mission, it’s a core responsibility and also extremely important to play significant role to promote Bangladesh’s image in Pakistan and rendering quality consular services with honesty, dignity, and utmost professionalism is therefore so important. 

Deputy High Commissioner further added that the Mission in Karachi has been working very hard to brand Bangladesh in Pakistan. He commented that resonating the success stories of Bangladesh’s socio-economic developments contributes in building, developing and brightening an honorific perception about Bangladesh among the people in general and among the young generation in particular. He expressed his optimism that a professional and quality consular services could also contribute to create better impression among the service seekers including the expatriate Bangladesh nationals and the foreign nationals including investors, industrialists, businesspersons, importers, entrepreneurs, and other dignitaries from Pakistan.
