Bangladesh an important political, trade, and economic partner in South Asia: Belarusian Foreign Minister Belarusian Foreign Minister congratulates Dr. Momen on Independence Day

Dhaka, 05 April 2023:

Mr. Sergei Aleinik, the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Belarus, congratulated Dr. A K Abdul Momen, the Foreign Minister of Bangladesh, on the occasion of Bangladesh's Independence Day.

In a congratulatory message, Mr. Aleinik noted that Belarus considers Bangladesh an important political, trade, and economic partner in South Asia. He mentioned that over the years, the two countries have established effective mechanisms of interaction in different areas, including political consultations and the Joint Belarus-Bangladesh Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation.

He expressed his hope that both countries, with the active involvement of their foreign offices, will continue to develop constructive dialogue and bilateral partnership for the benefit of their citizens.

Mr. Aleinik wished Dr. Momen good health, happiness, and success in his endeavors.
