Bangladesh has participated recently at a “Business Gathering” arranged by the Businessmen Group of Pakistan and the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) at a local hotel in Karachi.  Bangladesh’s participation was to represent Bangladesh and to highlight the development journey vis-à-vis the trade and investment friendly policies in Bangladesh amongst the business community in Karachi.  

Governor General of Sindh Province Mr. Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, Consuls General of different countries including Bangladesh, Bahrain, Saud Arabia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Oman, Iran, UAE, China, Russian Federation, France, Germany, Japan, Republic of Korea, Turkey, Vietnam, Thailand and eminent businesspersons and investors based in Karachi and beyond had participated at the program. It was an opportunity to interact and to share amongst the businesspersons and diplomats the important development journey and trade and investment potential of Bangladesh.
