H.E. Mr. Manjurul Karim Khan Chowdhury, a career diplomat of 17th BCS (Foreign Affairs), joined Foreign Service in February 1998. Currently he is serving as Director General of South East Asia Wing of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka. In his distinguished diplomatic career, he served in Bangladesh Missions at Istanbul, London, Rome and Bandar Seri Begawanin different capacities.He also represented Bangladesh in numerous bilateral and multilateral meetings.

H.E. Mr. Manjurul Karim Khan Chowdhurydid his Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical)from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET), Dhaka. He also completed Masters in Geopolitics and Global Security from the University La Sapienza, Rome, Italy.
