Foreign Secretary Ambassador Masud Bin Momen met with Mr. Yohei Sasakawa, Chairman of the Nippon Foundation and Special Envoy of the Government of Japan on Myanmar, in Dhaka on June 04, 2024, to discuss the recent situations in Rakhine and the repatriation of the Rohingyas. Mr. Sasakawa praised the conducive environment of Bhashanchar and committed $02 million to support the transfer, settlement, and livelihood development of the Rohingyas in Bhashanchar.
